*BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR Course The BLS for Healthcare providers covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask, foreign body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation. American Heart Association (AHA) requires all students to have a copy of the course textbook to prepare for the course and to have it available for personal use. Students must bring a copy of the textbook to class. The book can be purchased at the CGCC Bookstore or online.
