Introduces Differentiated Instruction (DI), an instructional framework aimed at creating supportive learning environments for diverse learning populations. Aligns the principles of DI with the practices of DI, and introduces a variety of strategies that are effective in a wide range of K-12 educational settings. Provides self-assessment methods for determining the extent to which a current instructional approach reflects the perspective, principles, and practices of the DI approach.
